Exciting new role - Manager, Liverpool Innovation Precinct

The Liverpool Innovation Precinct (LIP) is a partnership of major stakeholders in the City of Liverpool, in Sydney’s south west, which have come together to development a vision and strategy to transform the city into a leader in education, health, research and innovation by leveraging its strong health and education asset base and attracting new private sector investment.

The LIP is ready to take the precinct to the next level and is seeking to employ a dedicated Manager to work with the LIP partners to develop and implement the investment attraction strategy.

This new role will work in close partnership with precinct members, university partners, industry associations, local, state and federal government agencies to foster the development of a high performing precinct. The position advocates the precinct’s role in the creation of new value chains, identifying potential within emergent industries and actively sources funding from the private and public sectors.

The role will be employed by Liverpool City Council with a reporting line to the independent Chair of the LIP – David Borger, Executive Director of the Western Sydney Business Chamber.

The LIP is a congenial and engaged group of stakeholders in Liverpool that have a commitment to seeing the city mature into a great place for people to work, live and play around a leading innovation precinct.
